Step 1: Assembly

1. Fit the chain bar to the body of the chainsaw at an offset angle.
2. Fit the chain around the drive sprocket.
3. Fit the chain into the grove of the chain bar
4. Once the chain is fitted on both the sprocket & the chain bar, align bar with chain tension screw.
5. Fit the side cover to the body of the chainsaw.
6. Screw the nuts by hand to secure the side cover (do not over tighten).

Step 2: Chain tensioning procedure

1. With the multi tool, tighten the chain adjustment screw clockwise to tension the chain.
2. Check chain tension.
3. Tighten the side cover nuts to secure the chain bar.
4. Engage the chain brake.

Step 3: Cable strain relief

1. Loop the cable through the rear hole.
2. Hook the cable & pull it outwards
3. Plug the cable extension
