What's Included

• Chain brake nuts

Step 1: Assembly

1. Remove chain brake cover.
2. Fit the chain bar to the body of the chainsaw.
3. Fit the chain into the bar then pull the chain bar outwards to pre-tension the chain.
4. Align chain brake holes and bolts as per image.
5. Fit the chain brake assembly on the body of the chainsaw.
6. Screw the nuts clockwise by hand, then secure with the spanner (do not tighten fully)
7. Fasten chain brake nuts with multi-tool.

Step 2: Chain tensioning

1. Tighten tension screw clockwise.
2. Check chain tension.
3. Tighten nuts with the multi-tool.
4. Engage the chain brake.

Step 3: Starting procedure

1. Prepare fuel & oil mixture (with fresh petrol under 30 days old).
2. Mix E10 fuel with fuel additive for best performance.
3. Switch the chainsaw on.
4. Engage the chain brake.
5. Push the primer bulb 8-10 times until filled with fuel.
6. Fully pull the choke out.
7. Pull the starter cord to prime the engine.
8. Push the choke to 'start' position.
9. Pull the cord to start the engine.
10. Operate the trigger & safety lock to release the choke.

Step 4: Operating

1. Engage the chain brake.
2. Switch the chainsaw on.
3. Push primer bulb 8-10 times until filled with fuel
4. Pull the starter cord to start the engine.
5. Release the chain brake.
6. Press the trigger to release the choke.

Step 5: Hot start

1. Engage the chain brake.
2. Switch the chainsaw on.
3. Pull the starter cord to start the engine.
4. Disengage the chain brake
5. Ready to use
